How we handle storm-damaged trees
Storm damage is unpredictable. Roots may be loosened in wet ground, split limbs can be loaded like springs, and a tree resting on a roof or fence is often holding itself up on that structure. We assess the whole situation before any cutting starts, looking for hidden cracks, root lift and anything still hung up in the canopy.
Then we make it safe. Hanging and half-fallen limbs come down first, because they're often more dangerous than a tree that's already on the ground. We use rigging and sectional lowering to bring unstable sections down in a controlled way, so the damage doesn't get worse.
Clean-up after the storm
Once the immediate danger is dealt with, we clear the debris and leave your property safe and usable. We can also:
