Palmwoods is a hinterland village set in rolling green hills below the Blackall Range. It has a small main street and the railway line through the middle, with small-acreage lifestyle properties on every side. Many blocks were once farms and orchards. Today they're a mix of family homes, hobby farms and gardens with big established trees.

Small acreage, big trees

A typical Palmwoods property has a few acres, a long driveway and a mix of old trees. Think towering gums, leftover windbreaks, fruit trees past their prime, and regrowth in the back paddock.
